The saying goes too much of a good thing can be bad for you! I would say everything in moderation, including caffeine.
Ask yourself why do you drink coffee? I can only speak for myself but I really like it. I like the taste, the smell or aroma and I like treating myself to the time to drink coffee. And yes I use it as a stimulant as well.
My morning coffee is a ritual that I really would not like to give up, in the morning I’ll drink any coffee, by the way, I’m not fussy, I need my coffee fix. But I’d rather have a good coffee than any coffee if that makes sense.

Caffeine drinks versus coffee. Well, caffeine provided from coffee will be far easier for your body to assimilate than pre-loaded commercial drinks. I’d say that commercial pre-loaded caffeine drinks are the equivalent of junk food, not great for you really.
So, enjoy your coffee, try and make a good one as it really does make all the difference in the end, quality not quantity.
