Why are bean to cup coffee machines becoming so popular?
Well they are way more versatile on taste, fresher tasting, zero waste and provide better value for money per cup.
A typical pod costs between 38p and 40p with some as much as 68p! In comparison an boutique blend of beans will set you back 25.00 per kilo bag which equates to about 30 pence per cup. Not only that by using a bean to cup machine you are grinding on demand which, unlocks fresh flavors and taste, adding at least 20% to your coffee experience. Now add in zero waste as the dry pucks are 100% compostable either put them in your green bin or simply throw them on your garden. It’s the perfect symbiotic partnership with mother nature. Pick, roast, taste and return to the earth.
But, if your paying good money for a bean to cup coffee machine then you really need to use good strong beans, I say strong as these machines are so versatile that a the press of a button you can go from very mild to very strong within seconds. You cannot make coffee stronger with mild beans but you can make milder coffee with strong beans. Trust me I know, our beans are good and strong, versatile too.
Over the last 27 years making coffee I have owned every coffee maker you can think of and the bean to cup is by far the best. Best taste, best value for money and clean. No faffing about I simply sling the waste coffee pucks on my garden.
